School Supply Drive
TU is partnering with Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) to get students and teachers on the right start this fall. Please donate new school supplies at the following locations until August 11:
• Administration – 7720 Café entrance, 2nd floor entrance, rooms 311 & 401
• Cook Library lobby
• Enrollment Services 2nd floor lobby
• General Services lobby
• Psychology room 304
• Public Safety lobby
• Towson Center lobby
• University Union room 216
All donations are welcome, however, BCPS needs folders, notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, glue sticks, scissors, backpacks, binders and pens. New items only please. Thank you for your support!

Move-in for the fall semester will begin at 8 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. on August 24 for freshman and transfer students while continuing students are scheduled to move-in between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on August 26 and 27.
As students, staff and faculty settle for the fall semester, President Kim Schatzel will be giving her fall address to the campus community. Join her at 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 7 in the historic Stephens Hall Theater.

TOWSON UNIVERSITY EARNS KUDOS FROM MONEY MAGAZINE, TU News
Earlier in the month, TU gained national recognition from Forbes and BestColleges.com. In the Best Colleges for Your Money category in Money magazine, TU ranked the 150th position amongst 711 U.S. colleges. This ranking was based on 17 different factors in 3 categories of educational quality, affordability and alumni earnings. Additionally, among 300 public and private universities in the U.S., TU came 181st in the Forbes list for Best Value colleges.
#WASTED CAMPAIGN WINS NATIONAL RECYCLEMANIA AWARD FOR COMPOSTING EDUCATION, TU News
Following the #WastED (waste education) campaign that held during the spring, Towson won the national RecycleMania award for waste promotion and awareness, beating the other 319 universities that participated in the campaign this year.
