Did you know?

The All State Agencies Recycle (All StAR) program is our State government agency recycling program.   The Maryland Department of Environment (MDE) recently approved TU’s 2014 All StAR report with a recycling rate of 30.55%.  This was a 2.7% increase from last year’s recycling rate of 27.85%.  “This increase is partially attributable to a change in our waste hauling contract, which now requires weights to be reported for all of the dumpsters,” said Campus Planning and Sustainability Manager Paddy Watson. “Previously, only the larger dumpsters had to be weighed, while the other dumpsters’ weights had to be estimated. This now allows for improved reporting accuracy.”




The end of August marks the time of year when campus begins becoming a little livelier.  New and returning students begin moving in August 22.  Here’s to another successful academic year!

Show some Tiger pride as you watch the home opener football game! The Tigers take on Saint Francis University on September 12 at 6 p.m. at Johnny Unitas Stadium.  Hope to see you there!

Help raise awareness and funds at the Zero Prostate Cancer Run on Sunday, September 20 at Johnny Unitas Stadium.  Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the race starts at 8:30 a.m. Get ready to run, rain or shine!
