University Store takes second place

Every year MBS Books of Columbia, MO. holds a Holiday Photo Contest where colleges across the country were asked to recreate a scene from a holiday movie using their store and employees. This year’s photo contest winners are:

     First place: CCSF Bookstore – City College of San Francisco
     Second place: University Store – Towson University
     Third place: FSA Campus Store – The Jamestown Community College

12 days of SCS video

Before the Winter Break, Bob Cave gave us a classic holiday carol infused with the joys of Student Computing Services. Some industrious students at SCS took Bob’s holiday tidings to heart and made a music video for his song, “The 12 Days of Service.” Please take a moment to brighten your day with one last holiday-hurrah! Don’t be a Scrouge!

Polar Bear Plunge

Julie Hall, from Accounts Payable, will be putting together a Polar Bear Plunge team that will represent Towson University’s Administration and Finance Division in helping to raise money for the Special Olympics.

If you would like to join the A&F plunge team, or if you would like to be a sponsor, please contact Julie Hall as soon as possible. We also need suggestions for a team name!

T³ – Towson Tigers Today

Monday, Jan 14 will be the end of the Daily Digest announcements and the launch of T³ – Towson Tigers Today. The new announcement system is in blog format, and will be more efficient and effective; T³ will be easily searchable, and announcements will be available not only through email but Twitter and Facebook as well. Daily emails will be more succinct, tailored to their target group (Faculty/Staff or Students) and displaying only new announcements. Important campus notifications will be highlighted on the T³ blog, eliminating the need to repost and resend communications.
